What does justice mean to you?

"You can never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the old model obsolete."

How does mediation work?

Mediation is a process that allows all parties involved to tell their story.  This is often the only chance for the parties to speak about the issues in a calm and informal manner and gain insight into the perspective of the other.  Instead of feeding the anger and resentment that may have built up during the controversy, the mediation experience holds the promise of more meaningful dialogue.

The role of the mediator is to remain neutral while coaching the parties to communicate with one another and explore possibilities they may not have considered.

We will begin with a phone conversation to explore whether mediation is appropriate at this time. If you choose to move forward, we will hold a conference call between all parties to review the issues to be addressed and ensure that everyone is willing to give the mediation process a fair chance.

We will then begin face-to-face sessions that can be scheduled on any day of the week.
