Bringing innovation to conflict resolution...

Drawing upon my experience as a professional writer, producer and communication consultant with more than 30 years experience, my goal is to open doors to understanding and foster a new vision of what is possible.

I believe any conflict offers us an opportunity to learn about ourselves and set a new course in our lives and our businesses.

With decades of experience interviewing people from widely diverse backgrounds, from quantum physicists to religious scholars, from police officers to humanistic entrepreneurs, I am able to tap into a truly interdisciplinary wealth of knowledge to help foster communication that leads to healthy and happy resolutions.

I develop print and video news and feature stories for the The Courier News / My Central Jersey (Gannett Inc.). Recent work includes:

* Film chronicles the life of a woman who dared to speak about the Holocaust

* IMAGINE column: Virtual colonoscopy, less invasive option

* IMAGINE column: How to mend a broken heart, local hospitals cracking the code

* IMAGINE column: Just chillin' could be beneficial to your health

On September 8, 2015 I launched Pro Se Nation: understand the law for oneself, a 28 minute talk show that streams on Princeton Community Television, YouTube and Vimeo.

Among the many topics, viewers have enjoyed:

-- Access to justice and the pro se experience

-- Whistle While You Work: Who is protected by whistle-blower laws?

-- Eminent Domain Law: what are your options when the 'king' wants your property for himself?

-- Dignity with Divorce: Is it possible? What steps can a couple take?

-- Class Action Suits: Who wins and who is left behind?

-- Entertainment & Media Law: what should writers, producers and creatives of all kinds know?

For two years I served as the writer, associate producer, host and narrator for Matter and Beyond, a documentary-style series that explores the philosophical and ethical dimensions of science and technology which was awarded a Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy in the category of Outstanding Health and Science Programming in September 2009 for our program about artificial intelligence.

I earned a bachelor’s degree at New York University with a double major in journalism and political theory and a minor in philosophy and completed all course work in religion and society at Drew University Graduate School.

I have completed basic civil mediation training with New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM) and landlord/tenant settlement training through the Somerset County (NJ) Special Civil Part.

As an experienced writer, video and television producer, messaging strategist and communication consultant, I bring an innovative approach to conflict resolution.
